Wet or dry AD - what is the difference?

Wet digestion runs at roughly 4-8% total solids as a pumpable slurry; dry digestion runs at about 15-40% TS. Dry and high-load reactors suit high-solids biomass, use less water and take a smaller footprint, but they need different handling equipment throughout.
