How large should the feedstock collection radius be?
derived
There is no universal figure - the economic radius is set by bulk density, moisture and haulage rate. Wet, low-density biomass such as fresh Napier or water hyacinth travels economically for far shorter distances than baled straw does. The supply calendar exists to expose when radius and seasonality break supply together.
