What is co-digestion, and why do it?
sourced
Co-digestion means feeding two or more feedstocks together to balance C:N, dilute inhibitors and stabilise the microbial community. It is usually a yield gain as well as a stability gain: adding just 5% paddy straw to cattle dung raised biogas to about 53.7 L/kg in one study.
