Why is bagasse a poor standalone AD feedstock?
derived
Bagasse is heavily lignified, so it digests poorly, and it is normally burned in the mill's own boiler for captive power - meaning it carries a high opportunity cost as well as low digestibility. It is a co-substrate at most, not a base feed.
